                                                                          Color Theory Questions Paragraph

    The colors in this painting are very similar. All of the colors are 'cooler' colors. The artist used these colors to compose his painting by, using the lighter hues for lighter shadows and shades, and using the darker hues for darker shadows and shades. He used some purplish colors for the beak and legs which make them look even better than if they were just dark blue, because they would just blend in. All of the color hues are in the high 100's or in the low 200's.
